BOAC was founded in 1984 as an organization for facility operating and chief engineers. Its purpose is to assist these primary members in developing valuable industry knowledge and increasing their proficiency in all areas of building services. This purpose is accomplished by such activities as lunch-and-learn meetings (see appropriate schedule above) covering topics of interest to the membership, as well as by building a network of like-minded individuals willing to share expertise with others. The organization also serves as a hub of information about advances in building technology, governmental legislation and energy issues. |
